Fred Senter Frazier, age 101 of Bristol, VA passed away on Tuesday, June 13, 2017 at Brookdale Place. He was a great golfer, wood worker, husband, father; a true southern gentleman. Fred served in the Army Air Corps during WWII. Fred was a member and deacon of First Presbyterian Church. He was preceded in death by his parents, Fred Camp and Margaret Senter Frazier; his first wife, Jean Hausmann Frazier; his sister, Frances Frazier Caldwell and a brother, Robert Frazier. Survivors include his wife, LaVerne Dunn Frazier; three daughters, Melinda Michaels of Sacramento, CA; Nancy Cook and husband, Clay of Greenville, SC, Susie Arnold and husband, Jim of Beaver Creek, OR; step-children, Dianne Harrison and husband, Robert of Calabogie, Canada and Bill Dunn and wife, Marilyn of Knoxville, TN; eleven grandchildren, thirteen great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandson and several nieces and nephews. The funeral service will be conducted at 1:00 P.M., Monday, June 19, 2017 at First Presbyterian Church Chapel, Dr. Richard Ray officiating. A private burial will be held at Glenwood Cemetery with Military Rites conducted by the Bristol VFW Honor Guard. Pallbearers will be Johnny Kay, Jimmy Frazier, David Frazier, Jack Butterworth, Douglas Fowler, Joseph Dunn and Robert Harrison. Honorary pallbearers will be The ROMEOS and Tony Raccapio. The family will receive friends in the church parlor from 12 Noon – 1:00 P.M., Monday prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to the First Presbyterian Church, 701 Florida Ave, Bristol, TN 37620 or a charity of one’s choice.
