Lester James Frank Jr.

In loving memory of Lester James Frank, Jr, the son of the Lester James and Judy Thomas Frank. He was born on November 12, 1969 in Neptune, N.J. He passed into the eternal bosom of God on August 24, 2017. Lester was a faithful member of State Street Church of Christ. He got his GED and later was employed by the city of Bristol, VA and Food City until his health would not permit him to continue his employment. He leaves behind his wife, Carin Frank.; son, Shannon Frank; daughters, Alison Tautwein, Linda Tautwein; sisters, Monica Frank, Lavonda Davis, Felicia Thomas; brothers, Dean Frank, Delbert Davis; grandson, Kayden Tautwein; aunts, Mae Morris, Francis Riddle and husband, David; best friend, Joie Shaffer; special second mom, Claire Shaffer; several nieces and nephews. The funeral service will be conducted at 1:00 P.M. Tuesday, August 29, 2017 at The State Street Church of Christ with Brother Dan Bailey officiating. The interment will follow in Holston View Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Joie Shaffer, John Carter, Mike Howard, Caleb Frank, Castavas Davis and Mark Frank. Honorary Pallbearers will be the Brothers of The Church of Christ. The family will receive friends 11:00 – 1:00 pm prior to the service. The repast will be at The State Street Church of Christ, 1713 W. State Street, Bristol, VA 24201 following the burial.
