Pauline “Polly” Marie Poore Lane, age 87, of Blountville, TN passed away Saturday, April 16, 2016 at Wellmont Bristol Regional Hospital. She was born in Bristol, TN to Fred and Clemmie Pyle Poore. “Polly” was a graduate of Tennessee High School and attended King College. She was an employee of the Bristol Herald Courier for forty three years. Along with her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, William Jackson Lane; sisters, Frances Wicker, Jean Smith and nephew, Allan Smith. She is survived by two daughters, Kathleen Echols and husband, Charles, Frankie Lane-Odiorne; grandchildren, Charles, Rebecca and William Echols and nephew, David Smith. A graveside funeral service will be conducted at 11:00 A.M., Monday, April 18, 2016 in Blountville Cemetery with Pastor Chuck Echols and Pastor Mary Louise Sitton officiating.
