Pauline Ann McIsaac Mullin Cherry Steele

Pauline Ann (McIsaac) Mullin Cherry Steele, age 86, of Bristol, TN passed away Wednesday, November 23, 2016 at her home. She was a native of Boston, MA and spent 5 years in Palmdale, CA and has lived in the Bristol area since 1990. She was an employee of the hospitals until her retirement. She was a member of St. Anne’s Catholic Church and a member of their choir. She was preceded in death by her parents, Stanley and Margaret Frances Scott McIsaac; her husbands, James Mullin in 1964; James Cherry in 1979 and Luther Max Steele in 1994; one son, John Mullin and her step-mother, Cecilia Dunn McIsaac in 1997. Survivors include two daughters, Joan Mullin of Bluff City, TN and Marianne Vaught and husband, Roger of Bristol, TN; six sons, James Mullin and wife, Jerri of Johnson City, TN; Kevin Mullin and wife Diane of Weymouth, MA; Brian Mullin and wife, Viki of FL; Sean Cherry of Bristol, TN; William Mullin of Elizabethton, TN and Paul Mullin and wife, Celine of Rocky Point, NY; thirteen grandchildren: Jason (Marielle) O’Keefe; James A. (Amy) Mullin; Heather Mullin (Michael Hatfield); Laina (Jared) Pruett; Angela Mullin (Gregory Shamblin); Elicia (Daniel) Basoli; Malissa Mullin; Jacqueline (Michael) Rogers; Danielle (Zachary) Darasz; Cristina Mullin, Taylor Mullin, Nicole Mullin; Andrea Mullin, Stephanie (Chris) Harding and Jacob Reese; thirteen great-grandchildren and her beloved dogs and bird, Gus, Ella and Max. The funeral service will be conducted at 11:00 A.M., Thursday, December 1, 2016 in St. Anne Catholic Church with Rev. Kevin Segerblom officiating. Burial will follow in Glenwood Cemetery. Pallbearers will be James Mullin, William Mullin, Taylor Mullin, Sean Cherry and James A. Mullin. The family will receive friends from 5:00 – 7:00 P.M., Wednesday at Akard Funeral Home and from 10:00 – 11:00 A.M., Thursday prior to the service at St. Anne Catholic Church.
