Virginia Kate Cadle Rouse, 83, of Bristol, Tennessee passed away January 10, 2010 at the home of her daughter, Phyllis, in Morristown, Tennessee.

Virginia was born in Bristol, VA. to the late Robert "Bob" and Susan Harmon Cadle. Virginia lived most of her life in Sullivan County, having retired from Raytheon. She was a member of the Walnut Hill Presbyterian Church. In addition to her parents, She was preceded in death by her husband, Conrad B. Rouse, sister, Charmie Love, brothers, Raymond Cadle and Wesley Candle and great granddaughter Nadia Dishman.

Survivors include her daughter Phyllis Brown and husband Jerry of Morristown, Tn; son, Jerry Rouse and wife, Betty, of Jacksonville, Florida, daughter Jane Dishman and husband Jim of Bristol, Virginia, son Douglas Rouse and wife Brenda of Morristown, Tn; son Chuck Rouse and wife Lynnette, Katy, Texas; grandchildren Stephen Dishman, Michelle Murphy, Christopher Rouse, Jim Dishman, Eric Rouse, and Sarah Rouse. She also leaves 7 great grandchildren.

Visitation will be at Walnut Hill Presbyterian Church, Tuesday, January 12 from 5:30 pm to 7:15 pm with Memorial Service to follow at 7:30 pm. Burial will be Wednesday morning at 10:30 am at Mountain View Cemetery, Bristol, Virginia.
