David Randall Fields, age 46, of Bristol, VA went home to be with the Lord, Sunday, February 14, 2010 at his home.

He was a 1984 graduate of Lebanon High School. He was an employee of Dominion Carton and Mountain Empire Baptist School and a member of Belle Meadows Baptist Church.
Randy was previously employed as a police officer for the towns of Lebanon, St. Paul and Honaker, VA. He also served as a volunteer fire fighter for Lebanon Volunteer Fire Dept.

Survivors include his wife, Michelle Taylor Fields; daughter, Jacqueline Fields; his parents, Dave and Shirley Fields; sister, Sherry Helton and husband, Randy; granddaughter, Kylee Taylor and a special niece, Andrea Helton.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to Belle Meadows Baptist Church, 619 Wagner Rd., Bristol, VA 24201

The funeral service will be conducted at 8:00 P.M., Tuesday, February 16, 2010 at Belle Meadows Baptist Church with Pastor Dewey Williams, Pastor Darryl Fritts and Pastor Eddie Crusenberry officiating. The committal service and interment will be conducted at 11:00 A.M., Wednesday in Forest Hills Memory Gardens, Abingdon, VA. Pallbearers will be Charles Harrell, Steve Shelton, Ronnie Rhea, Dennis Price, Chester Price, Josh Mathes, Jay Presley, Josh Denton and Rusty Sells. Honorary Pallbearers will be Ken Bailey, George Young, Randy Denton, Giles “Smokey” Fields, Dr. Brett Odum, Dr. Michael Rowell and Richard Edwards. The family will receive friends from 6:00 – 8:00 P.M., Tuesday prior to the service at Belle Meadows Baptist Church.
