George Malcolm Randall, age 87, of Bristol, TN went on to meet his Savior on Tuesday, June 29, 2010 at Greystone Health Care after a long illness.

He was the son of the late Frank and Emma Walker Randall of LaMarque, TX. George was a veteran of the U.S. Army Air Corp serving during WW II in Italy. He was the owner and operator of Randall’s TV, Bristol, TN. He was a member of Bethel Apostolic Church in Kingsport.

Survivors include his wife of 64 years, Dorthia Burke Randall; his daughter, Angelia Randall of Bristol, TN; his son, Keith Randall and wife, Pamela of Bristol, TN; two sisters, Pauline Swenson of San Antonio, TX and Jessie Hickey of Santa Fe, TX; and several nieces and nephews.

The family wishes to give a special thanks to the doctors, staff and employees of Greystone Health Care of Blountville for their care during George’s illness.

The funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 P.M., Friday, July 2, 2010 in Akard Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Garland Tipton and Rev. Burnice Cormier officiating. Burial will follow in Glenwood Cemetery with Military Rites conducted by the Bristol VFW Honor Guard. Pallbearers will be family and friends. The family will receive friends from 6:00 – 8:00 P.M., Thursday at Akard Funeral Home.
