Inda Belle Musick Dishner, 89, of Bristol, VA went to be with Her Heavenly Father on Sunday, July 4, 2010 at Wellmont Hospice House.

She was born in Honaker, VA to the late Talmadge and Tina Thompson Musick.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband, William Gordon Dishner; her brothers, Ralph, Herman, Jack and Carl Musick and her sisters, Byrd Gibson and Mae Wood.

She was a native of Russell County and had lived in Bristol the majority of her life. Mrs. Dishner was a member of Grace Baptist Church in Bristol, VA. She was a loving mother, grandmother and aunt. Her life was devoted to caring for others.

Survivors include her daughters; Darlene Speer and husband, Don of Bristol and Wanda Barker and husband, Wayne of Bristol; one granddaughter, Amy Barker of Bristol; several nieces and nephews. Mrs. Dishner is also survived by a step-son, Jimmy Gordon Dishner of Maine; two step-grandchildren and four step-great-grandchildren.

The funeral service will be conducted at 11:00 A.M., Thursday, July 8, 2010 at Akard Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Jerry Musick officiating. Burial will follow in Mountain View Cemetery. Pallbearers will be nephews, Scotty Townsend, Roy Wood, Larry Musick and Roger Musick and special friends, Mike Johnson, Jack Johnson, Charlie Hoss and Lucas Hobbs. The family will receive friends from 5:00 – 8:00 P.M., Wednesday at Akard Funeral Home.
