Dale C. Haga, 60, of Kingsport, TN passed away Monday, July 19, 2010 at his home.

He was a native of Bristol and had made his home in Kingsport for the past three years. He was a retired truck driver and of the Baptist faith.

He was the son of the late Vonley and Blanche Haga and was also preceded in death by two sisters, Carolyn Armstrong and Edna Walker.

Survivors include his loving wife, Sharon Barr Haga; two children, Robin and Donovan; two step-sons, Chester Yates and Mark Yates, both of Kingsport, TN; special daughter-in-law, Tammie Yates; four sisters, Neilia Hawks of Kingsport, TN; Daisy McCall and husband, Kelly of Bristol; Elizabeth Phillips of Kingsport, TN and Jean Abbey and husband, Ted of Jacksonville, FL; one grandchild; one great-grandchild; four special nieces and seven nephews and one special nephew, Jerry Barr.

A memorial service will be conducted at 2:00 P.M., Saturday, July 24, 2010 in Akard Funeral Home Chapel.
