Connie Lee Zurvalec, age 53 of Blountville, Tennessee passed away on Wednesday, July 21, 2010 at Holston Valley Medical Center.

Connie was born on April 11, 1957 in Washington, D.C., to parents Barbara and Homer Funk. Connie was a caring and devoted: Wife, Mother, Daughter, Sister, Aunt, and Friend. Connie was loved by all and will be missed dearly.

She was preceded in death by her father; Homer Lee Funk, and sister; Carol Beatrice Stanford.

She is survived by her husband Anthony Zurvalec, her two sons; Daniel Zurvalec and wife, April and Michael Larsen and wife, Caroline; her mother; Barbara Franklin; her nieces; Kimberly Williams, Carey Shelton, and Kristen Stanford; as well as a rather large number of extended family and friends.

A memorial service to celebrate her life will be held on Tuesday, July 27, 2010 at 7 PM. in Akard Funeral Home Chapel. The family will receive friends after the service at the residence.
