Betty Ann Earhart went to Heaven Saturday May 22, 2021 with her two boys by her side. She was born in Sullivan County Tennessee and moved to Ponte Vedra Beach, FL where she loved spending time on the beach. Ms. Earhart was a daughter of the late William H. Earhart and Jamie King Earhart. She graduated from Bluff City High School then started the workplace balancing work on the farm and eventually retired from the Sullivan County Accounts Payable Department after 23 years of service. She was a faithful Christian and a member of Elizabeth Chapel United Methodist Church in Bluff City, TN then Palms Presbyterian Church in Jacksonville Beach, FL. She was a wonderful mother, grandmother, sister, cousin, niece, aunt, caregiver, friend, and loved by all. Ms. Earhart was preceded in death by daughter, Jama Beth, parents, William and Jamie Earhart, brother, Joe Earhart, and sister, Billie Jean Tester. Survivors include two devoted sons, Freddie and Joey Malone, grandson, Brody Malone, granddaughter, Addison Malone, two sisters, Mrs. Barry Sussman (Peggy Sue) and Mrs. George Weaver (Barbara), brother Allen Earhart, daughter-in-law Heather Malone, special sister-in-law Linda Earhart, special brother-in-law Howard Tester, and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. A Happy Day celebration of her life will be at 7 pm on Friday May 28, 2021 at Elizabeth Chapel United Methodist Church, 1041 Elizabeth Chapel Rd, Bluff City, TN 37618. A graveside funeral service will be conducted at 11 am Saturday May 29, 2021 at Glenwood Cemetery, 839 Bluff City Hwy, Bristol, TN 37620 with Pastor Dennis Milhorn officiating. Pallbearers will be nephews David Tester, Jeff Tester, Joe Boggs, James Weaver, Will Earhart, Joseph Earhart, and special friends of her two sons, Mike McClelland and Clayton Miller. In addition to these pallbearers, Ms. Earhart is also survived by nieces Rachel Boggs, Tara Earhart, Sara Vance, Shari Golob, Seena Gudlesky and many great nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 5 – 7 PM, Friday prior to the service at the church. The family would like to express special thanks to Ms. Earhart’s many caregivers at Baptist Medical Center Beaches for the love and support they gave to her.
