Bobby Lee Moretz

December 19, 1938 - January 30, 2021

Bobby Lee Moretz, age 82 of Bristol, VA passed away January 30, 2021 at Ballad Hospice House. He was employed for 36 years as an office manager at the Bristol Virginia Utility Board. Along with his parents, Duke and Kate Moretz he was predeceased by his sister, Virginia Cutshaw, stepson, Steven McCracken and grandson, Ryan McCracken. He is survived by his wife of thirty years, Nellie Moretz; daughters, Tonnie Mason and her husband, Shawn and Anja Lee Moretz; stepdaughter, Donna Mitchell and her husband, Randall; stepsons, Brian McCracken and David McCracken; grandchildren, Amanda Stanton, Ashlynn Mason, Alonna Mason, Elliott Mason, Ariana Mason, Nathan Harris, Brandon, Belcher, Nikita Burke, Stevan McCracken, Jr., Christopher McCracken and Lindsay Creger; great-grandchildren, Abigail Vanderford, Mackenzie Belcher, Aiden Belcher, Harrison Belcher, Maston Creger, Waylen McCracken and Jolene McCracken; two brothers, Lester Moretz and Kenneth Moretz and several nieces and nephews. The funeral service will be held at 1:00 pm, Wednesday, February 3, 2021 in Akard Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor David Mizelle officiating. The family will receive friends 12:00 – 1:00 pm, prior to the service. A private entombment will follow in Mountain View Cemetery.
