Dorothy Miller Edwards

Dorothy Miller Edwards, age 92, of Bristol, VA passed away on Monday, August 23, 2021 at her home. She was born on April 12, 1929 in Woodstock, VA to the late Lester and Myrtle Combs Miller. She was also preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, Harold Edwards. She was a member of Anderson Church of God. Survivors include her daughter, Tina Marie Linder and husband, Michael; grandchildren, Wade Edwards and wife, Kathryn, Lisa Helton and fiancé, Lynn Pierson and Jason Ste. Marie; five great-grandchildren, Jayden and Nevaeh Linder, Lillian, Scarlett and Mason Edwards. The funeral service will be conducted at 6:00 P.M., Wednesday, August 25, 2021 at Akard Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Matthew Holman and Chaplain Jim Tunnell officiating. Entombment will be at 10:00 A.M., Thursday at Mountain View Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5:00 – 6:00 P.M., Wednesday prior to the service.
