Edgar Carl Miller, III, 76, passed away during the evening hours of Sunday, May 7, 2023 at his residence surrounded by his loving family. Eddie was born on July 23, 1946 in Hagerstown, MD to the late Edgar Carl Miller II and Margaret Catherine Fritz. Eddie enjoyed the simplicity of life. He enjoyed being outdoors hunting, fishing and taking random drives with his beloved wife. He was a caregiver to many. He was the owner and operator of Big Eddies Deli for 36 years. Eddie was a loving and devoted father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and friend; he will be greatly missed. Left to cherish his memory are his beloved wife of 39 years, Brenda Sue Miller; two daughters, Susie Allen & husband Ronnie and Shelly Cuaruthers & husband Dan; son, Edward Cooper; three grandchildren, Nikki Schaumburg, Phillip Ours, and Brooke Ours; one great great-granddaughter, Jenna Schaumburg; and a host of friends. Eddie will be laid to rest at Mountain View Cemetery; per Eddie’s request, services will be private. Brenda and Little Eddie, It broke my heart to hear about Eddie. While 'growing up' working at the deli, He was like a father to me more than anyone will ever know. We all did have some fun times. And yes Traci I remember you would grab the broom and I would grab a cleaning rag.....He will be greatly missed and always be loved. Keeping you both in my thoughts and prayers. Love you and miss you.

Brenda, lil Eddie. I am so sorry about Eddie. I loved him most of my younger days i spent making subs and watching out to make sure i was busy when Eddie pulled up. We shared the same birthday we had fun with that. Many good memories and fun times we all had. I love you all and will hold you in my prayers. I love you Eddie.

Eddie always could say something to make you smile. He was many a day part of my lunch treat as I visited the deli. Prayers are with you Brenda and little Eddie as well as the entire family.

Son, that is more than you can afford. Still no, that would take all you make. I miss you watching out for me and the talks about thing bothering me. I didn’t relive how much time you devoted to me and didn’t complain. I love you.
