Loving daughter, sister, wife and mother, Helen Christina Mevis of Gray, Tennessee, passed away unexpectedly on April 18, 2023. She was only 46 years old. Her family is deeply saddened and heartbroken by her sudden death. She is survived by her loving husband Geoff Mevis, their sweet daughters Makenzie and Megan Mevis, and her father and mother, Jeff and Helen Stevens. She will be forever loved and remembered by her siblings Allen Stevens and his wife Karen, Stephanie Johnson and her husband Aaron, Louie Stevens and his wife Nikki, and Martha Good and her husband Mike. Christina will also be missed by her loving in-laws Bruce and Cheryl Mevis, sister-in-law Nachole Goetterman, her many nieces and nephews, numerous aunts and uncles, and several dear friends. We take comfort in knowing that Christina is reunited in Heaven with many loved ones, including Geoff and Christina’s two precious babies, David and Olivia. While we are devastated by Christina’s death, we are forever grateful for her life. Christina was a beautiful person who loved God and her family with all her heart. She was intelligent, dependable, caring, compassionate, selfless, hard-working, and creative. She loved to host family gatherings and was always ready with a welcoming smile, a warm hug and kind words. We will celebrate her life on Saturday April 22, 2023, at First Baptist Church in Blountville, Tennessee at 5pm. Friends and family will be received following the service.
