My dearest Pam,
My heart grieves for you as you and your children go through this trying time. I'm writing this under the heading of Share a Memory and oh what wonderful memories I have of the time when we were young and sharing God's word and fellowship at Woodlawn Baptist, not to mention the good times at the lake. I will never forget the time a large group of us went skiing at Sugar Mountain! What a bunch of clowns we were, I'm sure everyone thought the Clampetts had arrived on the mountain! Please know that I am praying for you and look forward to seeing you before much longer. Please give me a call any time you need to talk.
Love,
Frieda Souder

Pam and family,
I have such warm memories of you and Joe at Woodlawn Baptist Church. You and Joe always set a fine example of Christian love for everyone there. I will never forget Joe's smile and how he could always make you feel that he was happy to see you. The world is a better place because Joe was here - he will be missed. I will keep you and your family in my thoughts and prayers.

Pam and family,
I was blessed to have the opportunity to work for Joe in the mid 80's when I returned to Bristol. His love of life and willingness to help anyone in need, whether personal or professional, was truly an inspiration. He never failed to acknowledge his love for you and his family, you were his greatest achievement and joy. May God hold you in his arms of comfort and peace, with memories that sustain you through this difficult time.

We will never forget how Joe went out of his way to acknowledge our friendship, showing kindness to our family during especially difficult times. Bless you Joe Kerr. Rest in Peace. ~Mike and Linda Rhodes
It wasn't Christmas at First Baptist until Joe stood in the back row of the choir loft and sang "The Birthday of a King". Great voice, good man. God bless you and keep you.
Dear Pam, Shawn, Rachel, and Kerr Family,
On behalf of my entire family, our deepest regrets on your loss of Joe.
Bristol Va/Tn has lost one of its very finest Citizens.
He will be missed by so many...and in so many ways.
