Ora Carolyn Thompson Monroe, age 84, of Bristol, TN passed away on Sunday, February 14,2021 at Holston Valley Medical Center. She was preceded in death by her parents, W.H. and Leora Webb Thompson; her husband, Charles Donald Monroe and son, Stephen Timothy Monroe. Survivors include her son, Mark Monroe and wife, Mary of Bristol, TN; brother, Jack Thompson and wife, Dottie of Bristol, VA; grandchildren, John Monroe and wife, Lisa; Emily Monroe and husband, Doug Yezek; Anna Monroe Cox and husband, Sidney and Caitlyn Monroe; great-grandchildren, Charlie, Jacob, Will, Kitty, Garrett and Lilly. A private family service will be conducted in Akard Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Stan Anderson officiating. Entombment will be in Glenwood Cemetery Mausoleum.
