Patsy Sue Leonard, age 65, passed away Tuesday, April 19, 2016 at the Wexford House. Along with her parents, Ervin R. and Laura Baker Ramey she was preceded in death by her husband of 48 years, Guy Leonard; brother: Billy C. Ramey and an infant son. She is survived by her daughters, Kathy Miller and husband, Barry of Haywood, WI, Vickie Kanka and husband, Tom of Lake Villa, KY; siblings, Cleo Akers and husband, Lonnie of Gate City, VA, Dewey Ramey and wife, Brenda of Bristol, VA, Joe Ramey of Bristol, VA, Nancy McMurray and husband Sam of Gate City, VA ; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. The family wishes to express a special thank you to the staff of Wexford House. The funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 P.M. Thursday, April 21, 2016 at the graveside in Gardner’s Cemetery with the Rev. Wayne Baker and Evangelist Rex Murray officiating. Pallbearers will be nephews and friends. The family will receive friends at Akard Funeral Home from 12 Noon - 1:30 P.M. Thursday prior to the service. I wish I was able to come and see you for the very last time! I have a lot of good memories with you and grandpa! I wouldn't take them back for the world wish I still had both of you and grandpa back here! You will be missed dearly and never forgotten! I love you grandma just wish I could of heard your voice for the last time I wish a lot of things! RIP grandma I know grandpa has the biggest smile on his face and that glare in his eyes he always had when he looked at you it comforts me knowing your by his side watching over all of us together! Love you
