Peggy Ann Hurley, age 80, of Bristol, VA passed away Friday, June 17, 2016 at her residence. She was a former employee at United Telephone Service and was a charter member of Kettlefoot Rod and Gun Club along with her husband, KB Hurley, Jr. Peggy was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, KB Hurley, Jr. She is survived by her son Gary Hurley and wife, Sallie of Bristol, VA; daughter, Karen Hurley Johnson of Bowling Green, KY; grandchildren, Whitney Hurley, Todd Hurley, Christopher D. Johnson and Katherine L. Johnson; great-grandchildren, Nickolas Hurley, Kyli Hurley and Abigail Faye Johnson. A graveside funeral service will be conducted at 1:00 pm, Tuesday, June 21, 2016 in Glenwood Cemetery with Pastor Sam Haynes officiating. We were saddened to hear of Peggy's passing and also being on a trip we were unable to be here to express our support for the family. We were also out of town when Jules Fee passed away and just returned last week. We have fond memories of the times at the gun club and hunting trips with Peggy and K.B even though we have lost contact over the years. We send our prayers asking for comfort and help through your time of great loss.
