Willa D. Adams

Willa D. Adams, age 86, went to be with the Lord peacefully at her home in Bluff City, TN on Monday December 10, 2018. She was born on May, 14, 1932 in Mountain City, TN to the late JT and Ida Fenner Hensley. She was also preceded in death by her loving husband, Don Adams and her daughter, Diane Compton. She was a member of Avoca Christian Church for many years. Survivors include her three children, Marcia Ashley (Wade) of Johnson City, TN; Nicole Adams and Michael Adams, both of Blountville, TN; two grandchildren, Kevin Martin of Blountville, TN and Kourtney Baker (Raymond) of Bluff City, TN; three great-grandchildren, Katelyn Shaffer, Brent Shaffer and Payton Baker; one great-great- grandchild on her way, Isabella Crain and several nieces and nephews. The funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 P.M., on Friday, December 14, 2018 in Akard Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Glenwood Cemetery.
