Bryson was an amazing young man. I got to know him at a time in his life when he ahould have been sad . I met hom at the boys home. Bryson was such a precious young man. I loved him so much. I will be praying for his wonderful family.

Bryson Randy Smith, age 18, of Bristol, TN passed away Tuesday, March 26, 2019. He was a lifelong resident of Bristol. Survivors include his parents, Becky Smith Shaver and Richard Carmody; one sister, Brianna Carmody of Bristol, TN and several nieces, nephews and cousins. The funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 P.M., Monday, April 1, 2019 in Akard Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Richard Carmody and Rev. Larry Hall officiating. Burial will follow in Glenwood Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Nicholas Abelseth, Dylan Smith, Brady Smith, Johnny Houseright, Cameron Abelseth and David Shaver. Honorary pallbearers will be Aaron Jones, Dakota Jones and Robert Bickmore. The family will receive friends 12, Noon – 1:45 P.M., Monday prior to the service. You were one of my favorite cubs, always respectful, appreciative and full of life. As much as we all loved you, God loved you best & needed you more.
